Our Client, a leading Construction Company in Qatar, is currently hiring a Chief Estimator for their organization.
Job Responsibilities:
- Preparation of estimate in detail using latest software 'RAI' by interpreting the drawings and the specifications and pricing all items.
- Getting quotations from sub agencies, analyzing and finalizing them.
- Achieving the final contract value of the project.
- Drafting the form of tender.
- Follow up till the signing of the contract.
- Giving alternate offers to the consultants on request by changing the specifications to alter the contract value as per the budget of the client.
Contract Agreements:
- Finalizing and Drafting the main and sub contract documents with consultants / clients, sub agencies and suppliers including price negotiations.
Variations:
- Qualifications, pricing and negotiations for all items - alterations as may be required.
Office co-ordination:
- Approving the material requisition given by the site engineer by checking bill of quantities for the items of works.
