Credit Assistant Manager - JOSLOC

JOB PURPOSE

The aim is to state the overall significance of the job from the organisation's perspective.

Credit control, Ageing, recoveries, system control, Process of hold release, implementation of Credit policy, credit notes, debit notes, creation of account with IT support

Description Key Results

Policies, Processes and Procedures

• Assists in the development and implementation of section policies, processes, and procedures to ensure all relevant procedural / legislative requirements are fulfilled

• Recognized participation in and impact on formulation of departmental policies, processes and procedures

Day- to-day operations

• Supervises the day-to-day operations of the accounting section to ensure that work processes are implemented as designed and comply with established standards and procedures

• Day-to-day operations are consistent with established policies, standards and procedures

Job Specific

• Credit Policy . Customer evaluation, Credit limits, Credit security, credit days and other controls.

• TLR . Exposure and overdue

• Hold release process.

• Statement of account to sales team and customers.

• Learning of Arabic language

• Short Finance course

• Credit policy got approved from CEO and implemented.

• Weekly/Monthly basis shared with concern teams.

• Implemented.

• Circulated on monthly basis.

Reporting

• Supervises and edits the preparation of timely and accurate departmental reports which conform to JOSLOC and department requirements, policies and standards

• All department reports are prepared in a timely and accurate manner and meet company policies and requirements

Budget

• Leads the budget preparation efforts across the Company coordinating with other department heads to get their input and consolidating this into the overall budget

• Follows-up on actual vs. budget figures examining variances and taking corrective actions as required

• Accuracy of data and contribution towards budget

• Timely corrective actions taken to avoid deviation from the budget

Supervision

• Supervises the activities and work of subordinates by providing formal and informal feedback to ensure that all work within a specific area is carried out in an efficient manner and in accordance with set individual targets

• Compliance with set HR policies

• Employee satisfaction and retention

• Knowledge transfer

HSSE

• Ensures compliance to all relevant health, safety, security, and environmental procedures across the division in order to promote a healthy and safe work environment • Healthy, secure, and safe work environment

• Compliance to all regulatory policies and procedures
