Health and Safety Manager - Legrand

Job Objectives:



The Health & Safety promotes a positive health and safety culture. He is responsible for ensuring that all safety legislation is adhered to, policies and practices are adopted. He helps to plan, implement, monitor and review the protective and preventative measures that the business is required or chooses to follow, and works to minimize operational losses, occupational health problems, accidents and injuries.



Responsibilities:

• Make changes to working practices that are safe and comply with legislation

• Prepare health and safety strategies and developing internal policy

• Outline safe operational procedures which identify and take account of all relevant hazards

• Keep records of inspections findings and produce reports that suggest improvements

• Keep records of incidents and accidents and produce statistics for managers

• Keep up to date with new legislation and maintain a working knowledge of all Health & Safety legislation and any developments that could affect the business

• Produce management reports and bulletins

• Ensure the safe installation of equipment

• Advise on a range of specialist areas, . fire regulations, hazardous substances, noise, safeguarding machinery and occupational diseases.



Work Location: Legrand SEICO, Jeddah Industrial City, Phase 5.
