Job Summary:
•To work under the supervision of Technical after sales Director to develop an order winning strategy and to make sure proper implementation to achieve sales target.
Technical Duties
• Prepare detailed documentation to support a bid for a tender.
• Submits proposals and fulfills contracts and make sure to increase the chances of a successful submission.
• Must be familiar with the client's capacity and abilities to be able to generate an effective and persuasive proposal.
• Interpret customer’s RFQ and project specifications, and prepare technical and commercial proposals for process control and safety instrumented systems for timely submission to customer.
• Work closely with other departments’ teams as well as sub-vendors to provide complete and competitive technical solutions.
• Generate and submit budgetary and firm price tenders to guidelines provided.
• Provide written technical proposals as part of the response to tender enquiries.
• Ensure contracts received reflect both client and company requirements in respect of scope of supply and scope of work for the specified lump sum price.
• Provide commercial and technical guidance in the translation of client enquiries, orders, contracts, etc.
• Organize hand-over meetings after contract award with the relevant project management team.
• Provide assistance to others within the sales department and to other departments within company and where required.
• Visit Clients with company Sales Department in order to provide commercial and technical support and to discuss, review and negotiate contracts in all aspects.
• Generate and/or provide data in respect of maintaining accurate data bases.
• Monitor, register and expedite progress of tendered projects.
• Undertake presentations; attend sales events, seminars and exhibitions.
• Assist in the compilation of data relevant to the market, product, equipment and technical information to support tender proposal.
• Contribute and participate in the improvement, development and implementation of company quality and management procedures.
• Follow up all tenders procedures starting from finding new tenders (ex. From newspaper) till collecting the last payment of approved and delivered tenders.
General Administrative Duties
• Preparing periodic reports with respect to the activities and achievements to be submitted to the direct supervisor for review.
• Nominating a deputy to carry out the responsibilities of the position in case of absence or whenever the need arises.
Required Professional Knowledge
• Heavy vehicles & related equipment’s.
