Resident Engineer QA QC - Dornier

Main Task

- Act as Consultant’s QA/QC engineer for the supervision of a large-scale water infrastructure project.



Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate Inspection / Testing Plans (ITP), Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) of materials procurement.

- Witness testing of construction materials as per the technical specifications.

- Monitor the implementation of the Quality Control Plan at site.

- Review, approve and witness qualification EPC Contractor’s Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) for pipeline, piping, structural & tank works.

- Interpretation of weld radiographs for the production welding.

- Review and approve material certificates.

-Inspect to certify incoming materials to meet the quality requirements as per the project specification.

- Witness and monitor hydro testing activities of pipelines such as cleaning & flushing, stabilizing, pressurizing, pressure drop test, main test phase, depressurizing & dewatering, reinstatement after testing & documentation.
