This position is for Government Oil and Gas Company, based in Abu Dhabi.
Plans, coordinate and supervises the inspection activities necessary to monitor the condition of all offshore plant, equipment, structures and facilities installed above sea level, to ensure all plant and equipment is maintained in good working order. Provides back-up, technical support and advice to offshore team leaders on the condition of the equipment, to ensure engineering integrity and adequate and safe operating conditions are met. Manages NDT contractors and third party certifying authorities carrying out crane and lifting tackle inspections and contractors performing other integrity related activities, recommends necessary repairs/replacements and vets site modifications (PMR’s). Reviews and endorses inspection reports, amends and updates maximo data so as to have true and accurate documentation as to the integrity of the equipment. Ensures compliance to the company’s code of Practice for Plants in service, HSE policy, standards and regulations. Gives training and familiarization of junion UAE nationals and other new employees . As and when required conducts assessment and verification of CAMS juniors progress. Core member of Zakum Field Integrity management team.
