SCOPE OF POSITION:



You are expected to develop and implement a departmental marketing strategy to achieve our vision objectives and to support the positioning of the spa and the fitness as a total life style concept. The Treatment Manager is responsible for the daily operation of the treatment rooms along with the spa facilities, developing vendor relations, developing treatments, overseeing and motivating staff. You are responsible for placing the appropriate systems and the required training to ensure the up-selling of upgraded treatments, retail, memberships and designed packages. The Treatment Manager is responsible for Implement strategies to achieve performance targets, ensure guests are receiving 5 star treatments. Perform spa treatments, train and mentor the staff in the spa.



You are responsible for improving the member membership offerings, packages, menus, consultation forms, customer satisfaction and customer life style.



RESPONSIBLE FOR: Managing Spa in harmony with the Fitness and wellness along with the development of lifestyle various activities.



Special COORDINATION WITH: Lifestyle Manager and Business Development Manager.



Key responsibilities:



1. Ensure complete coordination with the lifestyle manager to unify the direction of the spa, health and fitness into one harmonized system

2. Prepare, implement and update business & marketing Plan

3. Comply with the financial budget in regards to control costs, expenses, income and support the finance manager in his report to the GM.

4. Ensure the Spa operating procedures and policies are implemented and updated as required

5. Supervise daily spa operations and liaise with other staff members to ensure hygiene, cleanliness, maintenance and service standards are upheld

6. Develop spa promotions and other marketing activities in coordination with the life style manager and the marketing manager to maximize Spa position in the market

7. Develop, upgrade and maintain the treatment menu

8. Ensure customer satisfaction utilizing their constructive feedback

9. To ensure inventory system in place and to perform random check inventory of health products

10. Develop, assist, mentor and train employees on systems and treatments

11. Assist in the development and maintenance of HR related systems

12. Ensure appropriate operational systems are in place



Operational (Develop, improve and maintain in coordination with Operations manager):

1. To ensure that all the staff in the Spa Department is managed efficiently according to the established departmental objectives.

2. To ensure that operating standards are adhered to in order to achieve the level of service established in the Spa Manual.

3. Ensure the availability, understanding and the appropriate implementation of departmental staff responsibilities, ensure compliance and check their performance periodically.

4. To handle all guest complaints, requests and enquiries on departmental services.

5. To establish a rapport with guests to maintain good customer relationships.

6. To ensure appropriate systems are in place as well as to monitor requisitioning, storage and to ensure careful use of all operating equipment and supplies.

7. To perform specialist treatments for guests as required.

8. To recruit the needed staff in coordination with HR and to ensure the highest possible standards are maintained.

9. To ensure sufficient staffing levels are maintained within agreed establishment and budgetary guidelines.

10. To ensure adequate learning is undertaken, recorded and monitored.

11. To regularly update knowledge and skills in professional field.

12. To promote a high level of performance and motivation amongst Spa staff and carry out regular performance appraisals.

13. To maintain a high profile with guests within the spa.
