Our client - one of the reputable IT companies in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia is currently looking for a suitable candidate for the role of "Z/OS Network Analyst" position.
Objective: Responsible for administration of the z/OS Network on client's mainframes environment.
Accountable to: Data Centre Manager
Responsible for the below:
- Install, customize, tune, maintain and upgrade Network related products.
- Take full advantage of the Network and related software such as VTAM-APPN, TCP/IP, Netview, Netview Access, OSA, JES328X and PCOMM.
- Provide technical support to Help Desk operators and Users community.
- Provide on-the-job training and skill transfer to Network co-workers.
- Assist in development of other Network connections such as LAN and WAN.
- Perform networking assistance to all internal groups and services (LAN, WAN, Security, z/OS, Applications).
- Plans and implements corporate strategies for new technology, and assists with development of corporate technology standards.
- Maintain state of the art knowledge of z/OS telecommunications software.
Experience:
- 12 + years of experience as an z/OS Network Analyst Sthree UAE is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
