Corporate Communications Manager - United Development Company

•Practical / Technical knowledge: relates to the depth and scope of knowledge required.

•Driving market awareness for United Development Company within the region and internationally, including its flagship development: The Pearl-Qatar.

•Assessing marketing communications efforts, evaluating voids, key user requirements, effectiveness of content and delivery methods and channels.

•Analyzing and synthesizing strategic information and pulling it together into messages that communicate a clear and crisp strategic concept.

•Leading the team to meet communications, media relations, publishing and other corporate communications targets.

•Establishing and maintaining ongoing relationships with mass media organizations, industry analysts, business, government, and other influences to ensure positive and accurate reporting of UDC and its projects and subsidiaries.

•Remaining knowledgeable about emerging social and media methodologies and strategies.

•Providing vision to the ongoing assessment and development of the Company’s strategic plan.

•Training and placing key spokespersons to media community on corporate, project and market issues.

•Demonstrate intuitive, problem solving that employs appropriate skills following guidelines from company’s policies and procedures

•Serving as Editor-in-Chief of Isola Magazine and other UDC publications.

•Directing and coordinating all corporate communications activities and aiding in formulating, implementation and administering of policies & procedures.

•Developing plans for corporate communication which detail: media relations, corporate advertising, corporate identity to include websites, publishing, shareholder relations materials, social media networking, photography and creative communications.

•Developing and implementing complex corporate communication programs to support investor relations activities.

•Developing and coordinating product/project launch communication and collaterals; work closely with Marketing, Sales and Retail, Engineering and other entities to effectively translate key product positioning and message.

•Promote teamwork, motivate and establish proposals, peer and or staff accountabilities which are clear and specific to achieve results.

•Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills.

•Demonstrate teamwork with internal and external contacts - being able to work collaboratively with others in a participative environment.
