-To carry out tendering process and pricing of new projects being tendered and asset Project Director as and when required.
- Complete understanding and interpretation of the commercial requirements and risks associated with Building Contracts, corresponding drawings and specifications associated with each project.
- Ability to compile a detailed bill of rates from contract, tender specifications and drawings.
- Perform and appraise quantity breakdowns and material take-off, to check accuracy of quantities pertaining to the contract Bill.
- Attend Pre-Tender Client meetings, record pending actions, decisions and inform Area Manager accordingly.
- Assist in the evaluation and assessment of Subcontractors and Suppliers.
- Prepare and evaluate direct and in-direct costs and cost estimates during tender preparation.
- Assist in the preparation of technical submissions to the Client with the ability to identify and eliminate ambiguities.
- Review tender documents with regards to technical and commercial awareness and advise Area Manager accordingly.
- Arrange and convene tender close-out meeting with Area Manager to compile both technical and Commercial submissions and provide summary analysis.
- Prepare Post-Tender clarifications as required and attend Post-Tender meetings.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.
