Inventory Cost Accountant - The Bahrawi Trading Company

• Maintaining and updating the Inventory Control Module,

• Updating purchased material costs, calculating labor & overhead related to the costing system.

• Prepare month-end & year-end closing entries and Reconcile discrepancies of inventory amounts & quantities within ERP System on monthly basis.

• Maintain the Fixed Assets System and Fixed Assets Records.

• Prepare weekly, monthly and year-end inventory reports, inventory reconciliation, inventory trend and inventory turns reports.

• Coordinate in regular cycle count program and yearly physical inventory

• Conduct perpetual physical inventory

• Perform other related duties or special projects as assigned or directed

• Investigate cycle counting variances, Report their causes and resolve issues

• Ensure inventory accuracy in the warehousing system

• Responsible for monitoring all inventory transactions in the general ledger

• Demonstrated ability to analyze financial data, perform reconciliations and prepare financial reports, statements and projections.
