Kitchen Supervisor

•Overlook all kitchen activities on a regular basis and prepare report.

•Attend any maintenance related to the kitchen operation.

•Supervises non cooking personnel such as kitchen helper, to ensure cleanliness of kitchen and equipment.

•Handles and trains others to clean kitchen equipment carefully and safely to prevent damage or injury.

•Supervises COOK and tastes, smells, and observes food to ensure conformance with recipes and appearance standards.

•Supervises workers engaged in inventory, storage, and distribution of foodstuffs and supplies..

•Awareness of orders, delivery and stock.

•Coordinate with the purchase department for all purchases against daily orders.

•Follow up with suppliers for delivery.

•Focusing on Cleanness and hygien.

•Assist head chef on purchase requisition and needs.

•Attend food complaints from Customers.

•Awareness about food expiry.

•Visually inspect, select and use only the freshest fruits, vegetables, meats, fish, fowl and other food products of the highest standard in the preparation of all menu items.

•Other kitchen duties as assigned by the manager.
