Our client in the transport sector is looking to recruit several a Signalling ATC Wayside Engineers or Technicians to be based in Qatar.
We are looking for professionals with a Minimum 1 - 3 years maintenance of electrical systems, use of spectrum analyzers/oscilloscopes
Minimum 1 year working in railway signalling commissioning
The role allows rapid experience of a state-of-the-art automatic train control system and such experience would almost guarantee future work.
Skills and experience:
•Deploying signalling and/or ATC systems onto an operational railway.
•Knowledge of communications techniques and safety processes in CBTC signalling systems.
•Experience in distributed networks and radio systems. (TCP/IP protocols, Ethernet, encoded systems)
•Experience in Safety critical hardware and application data design.
•Experience of system engineering lifecycle and application in the rail context.
•Experience in First article inspection, hardware and product acceptance, data preparation in a safety critical environment.
•Appreciation of non-functional systems engineering concepts (RAMS, EMC, HF etc)
•Skilled in technical collaboration with designers, installation and testing personnel.
•Close familiarity with the railway environment in general, and LU in particular.
•Experience of working within standards
•Ability to be flexible in terms of working hours and location, including transatlantic and domestic travel at short notice.
