ABOUT THIS JOB



A Senior Imaging Geologist and Senior Log Analyst, with proven experience with Carbonate Reservoir Evaluation and good working knowledge of Iraq Oilfield, will be responsible for advising key clients on Formation Evaluation strategies and providing advanced interpretation to maximize BHI profitability and brand. They will also work closely with RDS Consulting on strategic opportunities to achieve our long term business goals. Technical Remit is ability to deliver advanced Formation Evaluation products from Acoustics, NMR, Imaging from both Wireline and LWD.







KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES



Develops new solution products.

Sets product quality guidelines.

Supervises a group, department, or project. Participates in cross-divisional marketing.

Leads negotiations of complex contracts or tenders.

Works with the Technology or Marketing group in the development of new services.

Promotes business development and technical sales efforts.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS



Bachelor's Degree in Geoscience or related earth science discipline plus 9 years experience or MSc. with 7 years experience or PhD. with 5 years experience.

OTHER DETAILS



Proficient in managing staff and/or projects.

Understanding of internal accounting procedures and BHI legal compliance.

Expert knowledge of new formation evaluation technologies.

Significant knowledge of products from other BHI divisions.

Expert knowledge within his/her discipline and ability to converse at a strategic planning level with others and is pursuing advanced certification.
