We are looking for a fantastic person to join our team. This person will develop innovative and reusable web applications for progressive online activism and community building. The candidate will work closely with design team members to develop specifications and make recommendations on the use of an emerging technologies. Programming, designing and database administration are all elements of this position. The position requires expertise in a variety of web/application development, design software, and SEO.
Responsibilities:
• Plan, design prototype, develop, document and maintain innovative and reusable web applications.
• Actively involved in and contribute regularly to the development community of the CMS of your choice.
• Design prototypes, including site navigation, and layout of content, for a variety of brands within the organization.
• Ensure that the layout of the content is accessible and logical; sites contain relevant social media plug ins.
• Create visual concepts that match the content and the image required by the products ensuing that they comply to the brands global image; ensure that sites are easy to navigate.
• Build websites using latest technologies that conform to international standards.
• Perform maintenance and updates to existing websites when requested.
• Contribute to the overall development of Digital Marketing within the organization.
• Ability to interpret the needs and requests of the organization to develop concepts and final products to meet the given requirements.
• Create innovative online marketing material.
• Ability to be self motivated, meet set deadlines and be proactive in updating requester of status of projects.
