Finance Manager - Contract Role 9 mos. - Manpower Middle East

My client, a global leader in the food & beverage, energy, and industrial markets worldwide is currently recruiting for a Finance Manager. You will be directly reporting to the Finance Director



GENERAL SUMMARY

The Interim Finance Manager will responsible for the day to day management of the general ledgers for the two Company’s Middle East entities . The position will also be responsible for assuring that effective controls are in place to enable the certification of business results, meeting Cash Flow objectives and providing the business managers with timely and practical financial support.



In addition, preparing, supervising and leading the execution of the CU business activities integration (master data and transactions) into the Company’s ME FZE’s SAP environment will be a critical objective during the engagement.



As part of this, there will be a need to ensure adequate internal controls at the site (SarBox compliance); liaise with company management on reporting requirements and take part in ad-hoc company tasks.



PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)

• Leads and manages the financial accounting activities, together with the Company’s ME FZE finance department to ensure accurate financial reporting including GL, AP and AR in QuickBooks;

• Ensures that the business units’ financial results are reported in an accurate and timely (monthly) manner in accordance with Group deadlines;

• Ensures the accurate and consistent keeping of accounting records to ensure they are in accordance with corporate policies and accepted standards (US GAAP for corporate reporting);

• Leads the integration of CU business activities into the Company’s ME FZE SAP environment and reconciles overall CU financials to ensure accuracy

• Manage all aspects of cash flow - including monthly cash flow forecasts, payments and receipts and managing the relationship with the bank together with the Company’s ME FZE finance department;

• Maintains adequate systems of internal controls (including reconciliations) along with monitoring and updating operational and financial systems, policies and procedures to protect the assets of the company and to ensure compliance with US SarBox requirements;

• Ensure the preparation and submission of Statutory Accounts in accordance with Local requirements;

• Prepare the necessary paperwork, in conjunction with the local management for foreign VAT claims;

• Ensuring adherence to targeted financial and non-financial objectives;

• Supports the management to communicate information on a timely basis through ongoing reporting, monitoring and analysis of the historical and projected financial results.
