Due to growth an established group with over 70 years of experience of operating in Nigeria requires a highly experienced Managing Director to head up and lead a Waste Paper Recycling & Production organisation.
The successful candidate will have a strong history in the Waste Paper Recycling & Production market. However individuals that can demonstrate a track record of improving businesses in emerging markets may be considered.
Key responsibilities and criteria:
• Oversee the day to day running of the groups operations.
• Play an active role in developing projects, working closely with the CEO to continue the companies progression.
• Coordinate with department heads and office managers working in multiple locations across Nigeria
• Maintain relationships and develop future acquisition strategies.
• Carry out a strategic review of the business including current and future projects and together with the management team, develop key strategies.
Key qualifications Include:
• Strong experience in senior CEO or MD positions within the industry.
• Experience of working at a group level is essential as well as a proven track record of registered business growth.
• Relevant business management qualifications are preferred but not essential.
The role requires flexibility and a tough approach given the location.
