- Ensure and organise medical activities for patients and/or a population in accordance to the context, to MSF/MoH protocols and to universal hygiene standards taking into consideration quality and continuity of care.
- Apply medical knowledge and skills to diagnosis and prevention (helped by clinical examination, laboratory results and exams available).
- Treat chronic diseases with a particular focus on cardiovascular disease, chronic respiratory disease (COPD and Asthma) and diabetes.
- Attend outpatient clinics up to six days per week in both a private and MoH facility.
- Identify need for patients’ education and provide education and materials on lifestyle, chronic disease management, self-care and medication adherence.
- Participate in data collection, analysis and reporting as required.
- Participate in the development of the action plan.
- Ensure daily briefings are given to MSF project doctor re numbers seen, problems encountered, emergency patients, referrals made, safety issues and any other relevant information.
- Participate in preparation and delivery of in- house training of the staff (quality of care, patient and staff safety, update of protocols…).
