Position Summary



The role involves the implementation of Al Jazeera Network’s Mobile Media strategy. In particular, the focus will be on the latest advances in mobile both in the context on getting news in (contribution) from Al Jazeera Reporters, the general public and also as a distribution channel to deliver news in new mobile formats.





Responsibilities



•Responsible for developing applications and mobile experiences.

•Working on the next phases of the Al Jazeera mobile services.

•Keeping abreast of latest trends in mobile media for relevant future projects.

•Work independently/ under the direction of team leaders within strict time constraints.

•Analysis/administration responsibilities associated with projects ( reports statistics gathering).

•Ability to maintain accurate records and consistently perform in a highly detailed environment.
