Responsible for understanding and analyzing business needs and requirements, mapping them to the existing applications, recommend best practice of using system’s functionality, evaluate usage of the system by the end users and conduct necessary training to improve the user’s knowledge and experience in the system.
Applications Supported: Oracle Module (Oracle Inventory OI, Order Management OM, Oracle Process Manufacturing OPM, Oracle Warehouse Management WMS)
•Assist in routine system testing, user documentation, and implementation of added systems features.
Participate in and contribute to the identification of information technologies which assist the functional business units in meeting their strategic objectives
•Communicate with system users as the first point of contact regarding system problems; provide responsible and effective support to system users
•Perform routine procedural audits and identify areas to be considered for improved efficiency.
•Analyze and troubleshoot routine system problems and identify proposed solutions
•Prepare and design routine system generated reports
•Provide technical assistance on system use, troubleshoot and respond to operational problems and client request for assistance.
•Perform configuration and modifications on the development server and teston the test and production servers.
•Track and document changes for functional and business specifications and write procedures for record and use in training
•Analyze business processes and procedures to recommend best practice for improving business processes through the use of information systems.
•Keep up to date on business functional areas to understand system requirements
•Ensure that systems are implemented according to plan and user acceptance
•Perform system analysis and mapping new business requirements into the system
•Administer system security (. authorization, access, read only, passwords, etc.)
