Execute simple transactions involving the receipt or disbursement of money to Corporate Branch customers and record transactions in accordance with well defined policies and procedures.
Follow all relevant departmental and bank-wide policies, processes, procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner while delivering a high quality and cost effective service to customers.
Perform basic over the counter banking transactions, including receiving and checking deposits/withdrawals, checking endorsements, accepting cheques for cashing and performing account to account transfers.
Hand over the cash and balance it at the end of the day to ensure alignment of total cash with the general ledger and escalating transactions that are outside the delegation authority to the appropriate authorities for investigation in case of any difference
Receive various types of payments. Handles routine customer inquiries and concerns and escalating more complex customer concerns to appropriate staff.
Ensure that data required to be entered to Queuematic System is fully and accurately completed.
