A Trade Marketing Manager is required to act as the link between Sales and Marketing when tailoring to different channel / trade dynamics by managing the category in the most efficient competitive manner.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and consolidate trade marketing budget
• Check branding according to market requirements/ restrictions
• Discuss in-store vision with Marketing team and Distributors
• Track in market through market visits
• Brief on objectives and ensure implementation
• Ensure excellent, relevant merchandising in optimum space
• Brief distributor sales force (sales story, objection handling etc.)
• Establish objectives per channel
• Track results
• Extensive trade visits to ensure all programs are in place
• Understanding what works and feedback on activities
• Shopper understanding and buying trends
• Interaction with agent to ensure all programs and activities are met
• Leading processes and guiding the sales team
• Provide support in areas where needed
