Director of Internal Audit

•Handle the auditing activities to ensure high operational performance and compliance with the adopted policies and procedures of the company.

•Establish appropriate policies and procedures to guide the internal audit function, and ensure the quality of the assurance services delivered.

•Identify and evaluate the Company’s risk areas.

•Provide recommendations for improving the organization’s operations, in terms of both efficient and effective performance.

•Oversee the development of the Annual Audit Plan, approve the milestones and deliverables of the Annual Audit Plan to set out the priorities of the internal audit function, consistent with the organizational objective and the follow- up on its implementation.

•Ensure that the status, strategy, resources of the internal audit function are aligned and are consistent with the organization's objectives and governance policy.

•Evaluate information security and associated risk exposures as well as regulatory compliance with consultation from legal counsel

•Raise the recommended corrective actions regarding non-conformities to the CEO.

•Communicate and present the results of Internal Audit to management, the CEO and the Board of Directors. Discuss with Audit committee the internal audit budget and the impact of the Audit Committee’s discretionary report

•Develop and maintain a quality assurance and improvement program that covers all aspects of the internal audit function the organization, and continuously monitor its effectiveness.

•Ensure that standard for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing & Code of Ethics are followed.

•Inform the management/CEO without delay of any issue of risk, control or management practice that may be of significance. He/she should report the most critical issues to the CEO and Board, along with management's progress towards resolving them.
