GEOTECHNCIAL DRILLING RIG OPERATOR

MAIN RESPONSIBILITES

• Operate soil sampling equipment, primarily standard penetration spoons and undisturbed sampling.

• Operate various drill rigs designed for shallow-depth drilling.

• Assure alignment of rig and installation of proper bits.

• Operate control levers to rotate, press, auger, withdraw and empty auger tools under normal drilling conditions.

• Installation of groundwater monitoring wells.

• Perform maintenance and routine equipment repair.

• Maintain adequate quantities of supplies and spare parts for drilling operations.

Performed daily drilling and operation logs and records.

• Maintain HSE standards during operations.
