POSITION PURPOSE
Operations Coordinator’s main responsibility is to manage the day to day flight operations of the station.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES/FUNCTIONS TASKS
- arrange flight handling, deliveries
- coordinate with all involved parties to make sure that flightline operations go smoothly every time (flight crew, carrier, ATOC/military units involved,
CATO or other handling parties, MoveOne admin and labor crew, consignee etc.)
- make sure that MoveOne yard is managed properly, the cargoflow is smooth and deliveries/dispatches happen without delays
- make sure that all needed Move One staff has all required badges and privileges for daily operations (flight line badges, flight line driving licenses,
escort badges, flight line access cards for Move One vehicles, flight line photo pass etc.)
- manage on and off base missions to maintain the fastest possible turnaround time for cargo
- arrange optimal use of Move One assets (trucks, forklifts etc.), report any necessary changes/maintenance to station manager
- manage labor crew (flight line, gate escort, yard and delivery crew) to maintain the day to day operations, arrange day/night shifts for staff
- maintain control over inbound and outbound freight and Carrier equipment (pallets, nets, straps, chains etc.)
WORK REQUIREMENTS
Work effectively as a team leader, work well under pressure and able to work long hours while in the field
Interact professionally with other employees, customers and suppliers.
Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations.
Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision.
