Area Accounts Manager - The C.A.T. Group of Companies

• Managing the accounting department of his area.

• Stores’ Management and controls.

• Supervising, controlling and monitoring the Projects Accountants and the accounting departments in the Area.

• Providing technical assistance to the Projects Accountants.

• Reviewing, checking and consolidating the monthly and quarterly financial reports received from the projects.

• Coordinating with the Head Office on the financial reporting requirements, and issuing all the consolidated financial reports of all the area (Balance Sheet, P & L, T/Over reports Receivables report, Guarantees reports…)

• Checking the project’s cash forecast and preparing consolidated cash forecast for all the area.

• Coordinating between the projects accountants regarding the payments to suppliers and subcontractors.

• Ensuring that the internal finance policies, procedures, and systems are established and properly implemented in the projects and in his area.

• Handling all taxation issues and official submissions to the Ministry of Finance.

• Opening L/Cs (Letter of Credit), preparing all related transactions related to banks in this regards.

• Doing a spot checking on the projects and area payrolls and all related payments to staff and labors.

• Doing a spot checking on all the accounting entries of the projects and the area office.

• Handling the relation with the external auditors and the banks.

• Organizing the accounting department in his area and advising the Projects Accountants regarding the distribution of duties in the accounting departments In the projects.

• Signing with the Area Manager / Project Manager all the payments (Cheques / Transfers).
