Head of Enterprise Resources Planning Unit - Zain Group

The Role::



The job holder is responsible for the Enterprise Resources Planning Unit activities including the supervision of testing, debugging and configuration of the ERP system at Zain IQ.



The Position::



* Set Enterprise Resources Planning Unit performance objectives, in coordination with Business Support Services and Strategy Management and Corporate Performance Departments, and continuously monitor progress and development towards organizational and Unit strategic objectives and communicate periodic performance reports to provide evaluation results and recommend improvements

* Develop and implement Enterprise Resources Planning Unit policies and procedures in order to ensure the fulfilment of organizational requirements whilst delivering high-quality services

* Carry-out the day-to-day operations of the Enterprise Resources Planning Unit, provide expertise, encourage teamwork and align work processes to achieve high performance standards, meet established targets and engage employee in a motivated work environment

* Implement ERP system and modules such as Procurement, Finance, Contracts and Human Resources

* Supervise the testing and debugging of the ERP system in order to locate any errors and demonstrate correctness

* Handle change requests in order to keep the IT infrastructure of Zain IQ up-to-date with all updated/new business activities and processes

* Act as a tier 2 support for ERP system to resolve more sophisticated/complex troubleshooting problems

* Facilitate complex problems resolution with concerned vendors

* Contribute and ensure to the effective achievement of functional objectives through the supervision of the Enterprise Resources Planning Unit, set individual objectives, manage performance, develop and motivate staff, provide formal and informal feedback and appraisal, and provide guidance on training programs for employees in order to maximize subordinate and Unit performance
