About E&A - Design
This role is required by Engineering & Architecture (DAR E & A) - Design Division.
E & A - Design is one of the main divisions of Dar Al Riyadh Group which was established to meet the rising demand for architectural design in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. DAR E & A - Design is providing a full range of integrated professional services from Urban Design, Urban Planning, Master Planning, Project Management and Environmental, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Infrastructure Design. Presently DAR E & A is involved in the Kingdom’s mega projects worth 25 Billion. Our clients include major Ministries, reputable private organizations and other international establishments.
About the Job:
The Lead Infrastructure Mechanical Design Engineer will lead a team of Mechanical Engineers working on the development of a number of sites simultaneously in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from Concept Design through to the preparation of construction documents. The team will consist of Mechanical Engineers for: HVAC, Firefighting, Plumbing, Public Health and Sanitation facilities, large pump/lift stations, Potable water pump stations, Sanitary and Industrial Treatment plants infrastructure design.
The Lead Infrastructure Mechanical Design Engineer, Shall be well versed with the design of HVAC, Firefighting, Plumbing, Public Health and Sanitation facilities, large pump/lift stations, Potable water pump stations, Sanitary and Industrial Treatment plants.
He will be responsible for ensuring the proposed Infrastructure layouts comply with the current guidelines, standards and design criteria and that Client requirements and deadlines are met.
He will report to the Project Manager and work in conjunction with other members of the design team and when required will Interface directly with client staff and provide advice as needed. When necessary he will provide technical support and design review / audit services to the project manager to ensure the correctness and quality of the implementation of requirements.
About you:
You should be a Mechanical Engineer with UK/USA Master’s Degree preferred with minimum of 15 yrs. of experience in the similar position out of which a min. of 10 yrs. in Middle East. The successful candidate must have experience of working on large multi-million dollar projects with knowledge of all aspects of infrastructure, including water and utilities.
You should be well versed in the design of large Sanitary and Industrial Waste Water pumping stations, treatment plants, and Potable water pumping stations.
Familiarity with international engineering standards and procedures. Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Suite and design software’s.
Shall be well versed with the design of HVAC, Firefighting, Plumbing, Public Health and Sanitation facilities, large pump/lift stations, Potable water pump stations, Sanitary and Industrial Treatment plants.
Shall have exposure for the design of Process piping, producing process flow diagrams.
Shall be well versed with HAP 4.0, Elite and TRANE software for the design of HVAC systems
Shall have knowledge of Bentley Water Hammer, Windows software.
