Logistics Analyst - Baker Hughes

EMPLOYMENT STATUS



Full Time Position based in Oman



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES



Performs all Specialist duties under limited supervision, reviewsanalyzes and recommends transportation and distribution methods and procedures to develop and utilize the most economically advantageous and efficient means of delivering the organization's products.

Manages morecomplex shipments such as hazardous material shipments, highly urgentshipments, charter flights, multi-modal shipments, Letters of Credit, etc. Works closely with Trade Compliance Group and will assist lowerlevel personnel and participate in training.

Handles special projects, as assigned.

May act as Logistics Lead in absence of LogisticsSupervisor ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS



Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.

5+ years experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS



Knowledge of transportation and distribution methods.

Knowledge ofcompany product lines.

Good problem solving skills.
