Public Relations Senior Officer - dubizzle

Calling all Public Relations geniuses… dubizzle is searching for you! We are looking to bring on a Public Relations Senior Officer who can manage dubizzle’s image and reputation as well as internal communication efforts. This PR mastermind will go through several channels including Social Media, TV and Radio, Online and PrintPress.



We know our brand is the glue that holds the Dubizzle universe together. The way we build our site, the way we interact with our customers and the way we market our wow services all stem from the same values that are rooted in our brand essence.



What you’ll do:

• Planning, developing and implementing PR strategies;

• Liaising with and answering enquiries from media, individuals and other organizations.

• Researching, writing and distributing press releases to targeted media;

• collating and analyzing media coverage;

• writing and editing in-house magazines, case studies, speeches, articles and annual reports;

• devising and coordinating photo opportunities;

• organizing events including press conferences, exhibitions, open days and press tours;

• maintaining and updating information on the dubizzle.com ;

• sourcing and managing speaking and sponsorship opportunities;

• commissioning market research;

• fostering community relations through events such as open days and through involvement in community initiatives;

• Managing the PR aspect of a potential crisis situation.
