SharePoint Developer

Candidate must be a strong SharePoint development experience who should have the following

• Provide technical consultancy and manage the design, development and implementation of organization SharePoint Environment with required custom applications and Integration.

• Be a key contributor to innovation and build proof of concept examples.

• Determine the most suitable presentation method, visual elements, and programmatic objects that meet design and business objectives.

• Maintain flexibility to meet changing needs and requirements.

• Plan and execute appropriate unit and integration tests that ensure maximum core liability and minimal defects.

• Proactively communicate and enforce best practice coding standards

• Handle difficult/sensitive information appropriately

• Participate and assist in design, development, implementation, and maintenance of SharePoint business applications.

• Train IT and end-user clients on SharePoint features

• Having a deep understanding of the core MS SharePoint Product components.

• Work closely with customer and other technical support teams to understand requirements ensuring that solutions are sound, scalable and positioned for the future

• Oversight on testing of code thru multiple cycles.

• Clear and concise documentation of design options and solutions, based on specifications from business requirements.

• Packaging, deployment and support of builds as code is promoted from Development, System, Acceptance & Production environments

• Work closely with Technical Support teams to ensure that development and integration environments are fully functional and that builds are properly deployed

• Support the QA testing process.

• Active participation in issue resolution, promptly addressing defects in production and test environments.

• Provide knowledge transfer within the team

• Ensuring that solutions adhere development best practices and Architectural principles

• Conduct implementation and post implementation activities, ensuring project deliverables are communicated.

• Identify and implement process improvements to improve quality, efficiency and reduce costs
