Compliance Officer - Assistant Manager - Career Hunters

To ensure bank's compliance with CBK regulations any other arrangements as prescribed by regulatory bodies as well as Bank's internal policies & procedures mainly those related to AML / CFT.



BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES



Designated Compliance Officer



Act as the Bank's Designated Compliance Officer as prescribed by CBK regulations mainly those related to AML / CFT laws to ensure Bank's compliance with the provisions of the Anti-Money Laundering and Combating Terrorism Law No. 106 2013, its Executive Regulation and related CBK Instructions.



MLRO



Act as the Bank's Money Laundering Reporting Officer as prescribed by bank regulations under Financial Crime Module to ensure Bank's compliance with the provisions of the Anti-Money Laundering and Combating Terrorism Laws.



Compliance



Act as the Bank's Compliance officer as prescribed under the Bank's internal polices & procedures.



Duties



Function as an independent body with access to all AML / CFT related elements to evaluate and ensure compliance within the Bank, duties shall include but not limited to:



1. Implement the Bank's Compliance Program.



2. Respond to inquiries related to AML/CFT received from regulatory bodies, HO, and other banks.



3. Act as a coordinator for overseeing anti money laundering activity in the Bank and would be provided with adequate resources.



4. Reviewing effectiveness of Bank's AML/CFT controls and Procedure.



5. Monitor compliance with AML/CFT controls and Procedure.



6. Acting as focal point for internal and external STR reporting.



7. Coordinating with external agencies and providing necessary information.



8. Facilitate staff awareness, training and external audit of AML.



9. Ensure compliance of the Bank with the provisions of the Anti-Money Laundering and Combating Terrorism Law No. 106 2013, its Executive Regulation and related CBK Instructions.



10. Responsible to submit monthly, annually, and when needed reports to Head Office.
