Engineering Manager (Industrial Laundry)

Duties include, but not limited to, the following:



1. To act as key technical liaison between the Company, Architect, Construction Company and Equipment Supplier.



2. To recruit, train and motivate Engineering and Cleaning Team to ensure highest standards of plant and machinery maintenance and upkeep.



3. To initiate, design and implement a planned preventive maintenance system to ISO 9000 British Standards to optimize equipment throughput, minimize downtime and protect capital investment.



4. To mentor and train a successor to the position of Chief Engineer preferably to be identified from within.



5. Measure, monitor and optimize key utility consumption such as fuel, electricity, water and wash chemicals.



6. Provide electrical and mechanical engineering support for engineering staff.



7. Ensure that the highest standards of health and safety are maintained within the factory.
