Logistic Supply Operation Controller - Saudi German Company

Basic Functions :



•Logistics, shipping and transportation of Non woven products conforming to customers orders and requirements.



Organizational Relationships:



•Reports to the Sales and Marketing Manager

•Working relationships with sales coordinator, production and warehouse personnel



Duties & Responsibilities:



•Analyze incoming PO and fix required quantities to be manufactured, determine the packing configuration, etc. and prepare the final SO ( Manufacturing Order) for issue.



•Maintain continuous liaison with Production Supervisor, check the SOs on hand for production in the current month



•Carry out periodic review of SOs ( Manufacturing Orders) under production for accurate assessment and ensure that there is no run-out of any SO ( Manufacturing Order) .



•Process new product enquiries in coordination with production Supervisor



•Keep up regular customer contact and obtain delivery schedules for each month including supplementary demands.



•Seek customer’s approval for any product on hold and arrange shipment as necessary.



•Prepare dispatch schedules every month and make the them available to all concerned.



•Update dispatch schedule for the month reflecting all changes brought by production delays, changes in customer requirements, new or additional SOs ( Manufacturing Orders) , etc.



•Issue transport schedule to the over-land transporters for up-country customers. Notify transport amendments as necessary to all concerned.



•Liaise with freight forwarders for containerized shipments. Arrange all necessary documents ensuring their accuracy.



•Prepare all export documentations regulated by Inward Irrevocable Letters of Credit (ILCs). Submit the Export Documents to the bank before the expiry dates specified in the L/C and follow up for the acceptance.



•Regulate issuance of sales orders samples after coordinating with Production personnel regarding products specification based on the customers requirement.



•Monitor the availability of finished products for dispatch.



•Review outstanding receivables statement and issue reminders to the customers as necessary.



•Respond promptly to customer’s inquiry specially to customers complaints, problems and issues.



•Review daily stock report. Coordinate with warehouse coordinator if any unacceptable stocks variation.



•Supervise cargo loading operation at the warehouse and ensure that the right products are properly loaded in the truck or container.
