Photographer - Qatar National Convention Centre

DESCRIPTION OF ROLE :



• Schedules, coordinates and provides photography services from creative, conceptual and execution based on the requirements of the PR and Marketing activities and the overall company requirements.



• Provides basic videography services for PR, marketing and social media activities.



• Ensures that all the imagery are on-brand or as per the Corporate Branding Guidelines and QNCC Photography Styling Guide.



• Works with clients/end users and understand their brief on the images they require. Communicates with photographic subjects, put them at ease and provide photographic direction.



• Plans, coordinates and schedules photography and related services as well as works closely with the Graphic Designer to coordinate production activities.



• Seeks out appropriate photographic subjects and opportunities and carries out research and preparation for a shoot.



• Executes a large variety of photography assignments including event, reportage, architecture, portrait, studio and food.



• Plans the composition of the photographs - analyzes subject material, uses artistic judgment, and selects appropriate equipment, lighting, angle and background. Processes, adjusts and retouches digital files for optimum results or as per the PR and Marketing requirements.



• Research for stock imagery when necessary through online resources.



• Prepares photographic materials used in PR and marketing materials including exhibits, publications, presentations, websites, etc.



• Maintains quality control on all assigned projects.



• Participates in strategic and creative concept development for various collaterals and branding materials.



• Maintains the company’s photographic archives through meta-tagging and documentation as well as secure model release forms as and when required.



• Will be required to travel to off-site locations as and when needed, and manage some evening and weekend work hours.



• Track and monitor current styles, marketing and photography trends in the market and recommend as appropriate.



• Perform maintenance tasks necessary to keep photography equipment working properly.



• Performs other duties as assigned related to PR and Marketing activities.
