Purchasing Officer - Brasserie Almaza SAL (part of Heineken Group)

The Purchasing Officer is responsible of getting the best quality / price deals for critical material supplies and services by negotiating bids and prices with local and international suppliers. He / she follows-up with suppliers to meet quality standards and set delivery time

-Maintain smooth contacts with present suppliers, trying permanently to get decreased prices and offers.

-Establish contacts with new suppliers aiming for both quality and privileged purchasing conditions

-Ascertain supplier’s ability to meet the company’s requirements for design, quality, performance, price, delivery and obtain deferred payment terms.

-Negotiate the quotations to get the required quality and services to ensure timely deliveries at the most competitive cost with maximum company benefit.

-Compare the quotations and submit them to the Purchasing Manager for his/her final approval.

-Analyse & distribute shipping documents to ensure prompt clearance of consignment.

-Perform a follow-up on purchase orders to secure that orders are received on time in full
