ABOUT THIS JOB
The Financial Planning Analysis Manager – Global Supply Chain Eastern Hemisphere will provide ongoing financial leadership and act as a key business partner for plants in Asia, Europe and the Middle East. The role requires working collaboratively with Operations to facilitate decision support, business analysis and financial planning including budgeting and forecasting. The role will provide financial leadership by consulting, interpreting and evaluating financial information. The role will also lead the budget and tempo development, actual vs. forecast analysis, and the tracking of key performance indicators. In addition, the role will handle a wide range of special projects as they arise.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES
Lead close, planning and analysis across C&P Eastern Hemisphere Plants
Monthly book closing and ensure accuracy
Analyze monthly expense trends, variances, cost changes, etc.
Plans and Forecast C&P level activities
Business partner to the Eastern Hemisphere Manufacturing leadership on all that relates to financial aspect
Supports the Manufacturing Plant Directors in the preparation of quarterly and annual plans and presentations
Provides weekly and monthly management reporting packs including inventory, earned hours, absorption, variance analysis, etc.
Direct Supervision on Financial Planning & Analysis staff of Plant Finance Managers and Plant Financial Analysts
Proactively highlighting and implementing innovative profit and cost saving opportunities to influence business decision making
Performs Investment Analysis for capital spending and handle special projects as needed.
Ensures effective internal control structures and adherence to Baker Hughes finance policies, SOX & FCPA legislation at all times
Active team member of the Global Supply Chain Finance Team.
Work closely with plant teams and cost accounting in costing activities
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance
At least 5-7 years of proven experience in Finance and Accounting; Manufacturing or Supply Chain industry is preferred
Experienced in managing teams and/or organizations, international and multi- plant experience is preferred.
Knowledge of accounting and financial principles
Excellent communication skills and strong analytical skills
Ability to interact with all levels of management
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION / REQUIREMENT
Specialized knowledge of accounting requirements and related systems to include but not limited to: SAP, Hyperion Financial Management System, Hyperion Planning, Essbase
Knowledge of US and local GAAP
Professional Certifications in MBA, CPA, CMA, ACA, CIMA, or ACCA is preferred
