Production Manager - Career Hunters

The Production Manager is responsible and must work to achieve production target and quality control at all given times.

· Analyze the Production Floor and implement continuous improvements to the manufacturing process. I.e. (Garment analysis, Line planning, load planning etc.)

· Implement and utilize system to track production output and efficiencies on an hourly / daily/weekly basis

· Evaluate, train, and develop machine operators to maximize their strengths and improve the efficiency of the production team.

· Schedule production with cutters and sewers to guarantee on-time production targets.Ability to identify machinery requirements (Stitching Machineries, Embroidery Machines, Single head and multiple head), computerized cutters, hanger rail system, storage, stock control etc.

· Complete method studies and propose alternatives and methods that would increase productivity and reduce cost.

· Create and design effective supply chain system to and from the stores (flow of textiles from the warehouse to the production floor and flow of garments from the factory to the stores or warehouse.

· Monitor and control production performance.

· Responsible for all issues related to maintaining equipment’s and/or production line.

· Responsible for hiring and training of employees.

· Analyze seasonality and manage it effectively by proposing workable alternatives.

· Communicates at all levels on status and production availability and flag any delays or issues immediately; ensures outbound delivery schedules are met and works towards deadlines.

· Encourage accident prevention by promoting high standards of Safety and Hygiene and closely monitors work environment to insure safety procedures are being followed daily

· Promotes and maintains a harmonious working relationship with all Production staff across the Workshop.
