The Social Media Specialist will focus on managing, engaging and reporting on the Museum’s online communities, mainly on Twitter, Facebook, Google+, Youtube and Instagram.
The role entails:
• Preparing a content strategy and calendar for our social media platforms.
• Creating, publishing and scheduling content regularly with the aim of triggering conversation and improving engagement in line with the Museum’s communication and brand strategy.
• Managing the community on a daily basis: posting engaging content, moderating comments and responding to requests and questions.
• Reporting on key community metrics and optimizing strategy against these
The Social Media Specialist will also have to develop and proofread content across all the Museum’s online channels, as well as to blog and reach out to partners with the aim of building an online community/network of sports-related entities (museums, federations, private institutions, individual influencers, athletes, etc.).
