For managing the efficient receipt and storage of raw materials, packaging and finished goods as per Corporate Policies, Procedures and Service levels.World Class systems including WMS/ERPFor planning and optimizing warehouse resources within agreed costs and budgets.To ensure appropriate accounting records for receipts to warehouse, issues to production and receipts of finished goods.To carry out periodic stock accounting to ensure nil discrepancies between book and physical stocks.To ensure service levels of RM, PM, Intermediates to production unit as per plan.To ensure appropriate norms for finished goods storage on bays and pallets to facilitate FIFO deliveries and order picking.To maintain fleet of delivery trucks and material handling equipments in running order.To develop optimal route plans and productivity of delivery trucks including the availability of truck capacities through preventive maintenance / hiring for contingency.To develop and document standard operating procedures for receiving, handling, shipping and salvaging non moving / dead stocks.For using the distribution plan provided by the planning manager, schedule delivery vehicles for order servicing.
To be directly accountable for development of employees reporting to him and next level.
