Job Purpose:
The Cashier is responsible for settling all sales transactions in all accepted modes of payment, and other related duties, whilst maintaining company standards.
Responsibilities:
- Receives payments from customers and issues receipts, whilst maintaining customer service levels.
- Receives stock from AAW store/pharmacies and suppliers, and makes sure that items/quantities/prices are all correct, before inputting it into system.
- Ensures that cash handling policy is followed, and cash is kept secure.
- Processes item return from customers, after taking pharmacist confirmation and according to the followed standards.
- Maintains standards of Health, Safety, and cleanliness.
