Pharmacist - Ali Abdulwahab Al Mutawa

Job Purpose:

The Pharmacist provides medications as required for patients/customers, according to the professional standards and practices.



Job Responsibilities:

- Welcomes customers entering the pharmacy.

- Processes prescriptions alongside providing information on the use of various medications including dosage, side effects, and composition.

- Provides advices about health issues and symptoms, and recommends medication in response to customer enquiries.

- Ensures secure storage of controlled substances/restricted items, and that approved prescriptions are provided/recorded when dispensing those items.

- Checks stock on regular basis to identify and reorder required items, and ensures that stock is maintained according to manufacturer standards.

- Maintains pharmacy records and files, and prepares various reports as required by management.

- Maintains departmental policies and procedures, and standards of Health, Safety, and quality assurance.
