1. Allocate needed resources for the QHSE functions and provide necessary guidance & directions to subordinates in order to meet QHSE objectives, targets and schedules.
2. Follow up on QC activities such as Sampling, Inspection, and testing, ensuring compliance to the set instructions and standards.
3. Follow up on Quality inspection during each stage of the production, ensuring compliance with the set standards, and coordinate with the production solve deviations in any method found appropriate to avoid the release of any defective products.
4. Coordinate with the HSE Engineer to check the Fire Fighting & Detection systems installed, solve any problems, and coordinate with external parties for maintenance purposes whenever needed.
5. Coordinate with external regulatory & official parties such as the Civil Defense, Social Security, Ministry of Health, Labor office, Ministry of Environment on issues related to Petra Foods’ Occupational Health & Safety, and Environmental Aspects
6. Review & evaluate the Raw Materials used or to be used in terms of food safety, by referring to fact sheets, lab testing & examination reports and Jordanian Authority approvals.
7. Monitor the Staff adherence to personal hygiene standards.
8. Monitor Food Safety Trends in coordination subordinates.
9. Monitor the Employees adherence to Petra Foods’ QHSE policies, procedures and instructions.
10. Ensure systemized, accurate, and easily retrievable QHSE records.
