Senior Mechanical Engineer - SSH

Purpose

To supervise the development of the functional designs of a project in line with SSH quality standards, client and statutory requirements



Responsibilities

• Analyze design codes, by-laws, space and site requirements, and other technical documents (survey reports, aerial photography or geologic data) to determine their effect on designs, and in keeping to statutory requirements

• To communicate and coordinate with all disciplines / Stakeholders on a daily basis, and when required the ability to coordinate with teams across other SSH regional offices

• Awareness of contractual cost and time elements within work progress

• Considers the relative costs and benefits of potential materials, production processes, and techniques and to incorporate the most appropriate one into the design.

• Responsible in leading the team quality and the timely delivery of multiple projects running concurrently, including the preparation of the Design Scope of work as well as the technical designs of a project
