Service Manager, Automotive - autoXpert s.a.l

Our group is the distributor for automotive brands. We are focused on expanding our growth platform, through building an effective and competent workforce. • Provide world class service through: building and maintaining positive Customer and employee relationships; controlling costs; operating at optimum capacity, setting and achieving service sales and profit objectives. • Organize, direct and control the activities of the workshop team ensuring optimum use of all material and personnel resources, whilst creating a positive atmosphere/environment that promotes "excellence" and personal growth of team members. • Effectively and consistently implement the Dealer Operating Standards & Processes relevant to the service, body shop and parts operation. • Check, inspect and monitor the quality of all facilities within the Service Operation for Customer comfort/use. • Continuously monitor Customer service quality, through Service Satisfaction Index (SSS). • Check, monitor and control sales objectives and review operating reports towards these sales objectives. • Acquire competitive quotes on all tools, equipment, sublet repairs and supplies. • Analyze & eliminate activities that result in wastage of supplies, space and time. • Analyze each month's: repeat repairs; maintenance costs; repair costs and all controllable expense elements with the Finance/Accountant Department. • Establish pricing policy and menu pricing in accordance with the market demands. • Attend the Service Manager Meetings and other training as and when necessary. • Ensure availability of adequate tools and equipment. • Ensure proper use and maintenance of service vehicles. • Maintain a system for the control of defective warranty parts. • Manage the body shop. • Monitor, control and implement high ratio of Parts and Accessories availability while following up on all Customers relating parts and order/back order. • Establish and maintain good practices designed to train, develop and motivate employees. Monitor performance and productivity. • Performance standards for this position are met when: o Dealer Business Plan objectives are met. o All Customer complaints are resolved. o "Customer Satisfaction Index" (SSS). o Achieving the Dealer Operating Processes & Standards relevant to this position.
