Team Coordinator - Hepworth / Corys

Purpose :

To oversee loading and supervise the day-to-day operations of their team, making sure everyone is pulling their

weight, distributing the workload evenly and making sure motivation and performance levels are maintained.

 In charge of laborers, vehicle operators, material movers and helpers

 make sure safety procedures are followed

 Responsible for ensuring accuracy in order fulfillment and receiving procedures.

 Keeping the storage facility secure

 Know more than one language to facilitate communication with workers or customers.

 Perform appraisals for staff, evaluate work and recommend changes as required.

 Prepare necessary paperwork for same

 Coordinate with other departments and investigate accidents and identify root cause of damage.

 Monitor work of employees and initiate disciplinary actions as required.

 Direct the facility’s day-to-day activities, i.e. ( Oversee loading operations, Oversee vehicle movement, Oversee

vehicles Log book )

 Daily communication with leads, other staff to determine staffing, supply and operational needs, and ensures these

needs are met

 Responsible for the progressive disciplinary process in the area of counseling, warnings, and other corrective action

to ensure a productive labor climate

 Works outdoors to oversee outside operations

 Exposed to extreme weather conditions

 Maintain clean and orderly inventory and yard area

 Unload incoming freight

 Check all in-shipments for accuracy against the bill of lading; check packing slips for

proper quantity; and note any damage

 Load and deliver all sales in a timely manner.

 Maintain shift log book regularly updated on daily basis.

 Keep records of all P/S & D/N .

 Keep records off all incoming containers from port.

 Manage any other extra jobs as requested by the business.
