Functional Description
This position is responsible to oversee the proper execution of all repair orders to ensure customer satisfaction.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
• Ensure speedy and correct maintenance and repair of customers’ vehicles.
• Ensure a check on the general condition of customers’ vehicles and the recording of faults which were not covered in the work order.
• Guarantee the complete and proper execution of all items in the repair order.
• Assist service advisors in determining the exact defect of the customer car.
• Observe product quality and report damage cases.
• Support technicians in vehicles’ diagnoses and difficult work.
• Distribute work orders in accordance with the capabilities of the technicians and the agreed completion times.
• Ensure correct registering of time cards and correct punching of working times on the job order.
• Observe the execution of the technical reports needed for the warranty and any related subjects.
• Ensure that every technician orders the correct part required for carrying out the operations on the job orders.
• Efficiently use the workshop diagnostic testers and all other special tools.
• Make sure that the technicians are using the proper tools in the correct way to carry out the jobs.
Note: this job description shall include, but is not necessarily limited to the above duties. May temporarily perform other duties assigned to maintain operations and services.
Reporting Line
This position reports to the Service Manger.
Span of Control
This position supervises all workshop staff.
