Job Purpose:
The main purpose of the Accountant is to record financial transactions, perform reconciliations and prepare accounting reports. Responsible for recording cash or check receipts and maintaining accounting file information. Coordinate with his/her superiors on suppliers’ orders and re-invoicing in addition of implementing the warranty claims activity.
Major responsibilities
• Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, and document business transactions.
• Correctly matches and verifies invoice amounts to source documents.
• Accurately calculates and verifies amounts of payments.
• Participates in the compilation of data and prepares standard accounting reports
• Receives, controls, and records cash or check receipts.
• Responds to requests for information and solve clerical problems.
• Reviews petty cash documentation prior to submitting them to appropriate parties for approval.
• Prepares journal entries and submits them for approval.
• Prepares all invoices and receipts prepared prior to submitting them to the customers.
• Prepares all supplier documentation prior to passing them for appropriate action.
• Processes foreign suppliers’ orders and warranty claims activities including reimbursement of claims.
