CCR OPERATOR

JOB OBJECTIVE:

To monitor and operate plant from central control room, ensuring adherence with defined procedures to facilitate smooth functioning of the plant, while proactively informing the necessary stakeholders of any non-conformances in order to support the effective achievement of production targets and quality standards.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Description

CCR Operations

 Monitor the operation of the Plant production process through computer terminals from central control room in accord with defined procedures while optimizing the process parameters accordingly.

 Operate multi-function process such as grinding and pyro processing; observe computer-printouts, video monitors and trends to verify specified processing conditions and to make necessary adjustments in accord with defined instructions.

 Start up and shut down the production system in cases of emergency or as required by schedule.

 Maintain shift log of production data and printout production and other reports to support effective monitoring and management decision making.

Coordination and Inspection

 Coordination with field people from CCR for smooth operation of the plant.

 Co-ordinate with shift in charge to provide shift update and facilitate seamless communications for effective production monitoring.

 Conduct regular inspection of specific parameters to ensure adherence to define quality standards while promptly informing superior of any anomalies to support implementation of corrective action.

 Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.

Statements and Reports

 Assist in the preparation of timely and accurate departmental statements and reports to meet and department requirements, policies and standards.

Quality, Health, Safety, & Environment

 Ensure all relevant quality, health, safety and environmental procedures, instructions and controls are adhered to so that the safety of employees, quality of products/services and environmental compliance can be guaranteed.
