This is an exciting opportunity for a CEO (Arabic Speaker) to drive change within a well established Middle Eastern Bank. It is a unique opportunity to lead the growth of one of the largest regional commercial banking institutions which has an excellent reputation of providing comprehensive banking products and services. Our client is looking for a seasoned CEO (Arabic Speaker) or equivalent Head of Corporate/Retail to lead the business to the next stage of it's development across both it's local and internal network of branches.







The successful Arabic speaking candidate will work with the Chairman, Board of Directors and Advisors.

- Responsible for driving the Bank's strategy to align with the Chairman and Board's vision.- Ensure that all aspects of the Bank's activities obtain maximum profits commensurate with the best interest of shareholders, customers, employees, and the public.- Provide reports to the Board of Directors as the highest ranking official of the Bank.- All Executive Managers for the Bank report to the Chief Executive Officer and you will be directly responsible for attaining all established operational and financial goals.- Ensure the Bank meets the regulations with regards to the policies and procedures of the Central Bank.- It is essential that all candidates write and speak Arabic and English fluently as all Board meetings are conducted only in Arabic. - Strategic planning and resource allocation - manage long-term development projects across the Bank including relevant short-term requests.- Provide executive leadership to the Bank's rapidly expanding team.- Define brand values and the vision.- Lead the Bank's relationships with key decision makers in the relevant regulatory entities.





Profile

- Be Arabic speaking and have a deep connection to the Middle East Region- Have a strong track record of leading and building businesses, ideally with board level experience from a well respected Retail or Commercial Bank- Be a strong leader of change across all aspects of an organisation- Have a successful track record as the CEO of a Middle Eastern Bank, or currently be a Head of Retail/Corporate, COO or CFO of a top 50 GCC Bank.- Have the proven ability to provide executive leadership and influence people and teams to achieve and exceed their own goals and objectives.- Have an exceptional track record of setting and executing a business strategy / vision.- Demonstrate a dynamic, entrepreneurial approach to drive the business forward.- Be technically proficient - have a good understanding of relevant regulatory issues.
